CUBASE LE 6Ĭubase – the world’s most popular software for com- posing, recording and mixing music – is a digital audio workstation for Mac and PC. The new hi-res colored waveforms and automatic beat-sync functions make it simple to use the looping, cueing and effects and go far beyond ordinary mixing.

TRAKTOR LE 2 DJ software provides two playback decks to spin tracks directly from your hard drive, with full iTunes integration and iPod compatibility. Instruments for all styles of music are included: vintage drums from ABBEY ROAD, orchestral instruments from the Vienna Symphonic Library, band and world instruments, stunning REAKTOR synthesizers plus eight powerful guitar amps, matching cabinets and 27 stomp-box effects. KOMPLETE ELEMENTS - ENTER THE WORLD OF KOMPLETEĪlthough KOMPLETE ELEMENTS is the distilled version of the award-winning KOMPLETE 7, it still weighs in at 3 GB, with over 1000 production-ready sounds and effects. Custom-built USB port for extra-solid connection USB interface output latency 5.71ms bad for Komplete instruments Am waiting for a USB interface that I have ordered, but just found out that it has an output latency of 5.71 ms, and with Komplete already having 3ms latency I’m worried about how it would affect playing the instruments in Komplete, which I tend to use quite a bit. They're designed to be simple to use but, despite deliberately pared down parameter sets, are capable of great things.

Mac OS X 10.7 or 10.8 (latest update), Intel Core 2 Duo, 2 GB RAM (4 GB recommended) Buy Native Instruments KOMPLETE 7 - Virtual Instruments and Effects Bundle featuring. The addition of LED channel monitors is a big plus.Windows 7 or Windows 8 (latest Service Pack, 32/64 Bit), Intel Core Duo or AMD Athlon 64 X2, 2 GB RAM (4 GB recommended) It's a good start for home use and the button and dial layout is perfect. It also means that you don't have to worry if you're carrying it about. The build is fully plastic, but is still a solid feeling unit, but the Focusrite Scarlette Solo has a more rugged feel due to the metal enclosure. It does have phantom power for mics and the inputs are all at the front, but there are only RCA outs which, even at this price range, is limiting. A very basic interface with the ability to only have one instrument or microphone at a time. If working well it would have suited my needs, sort of. I know it's not my KRK's as they have been checked. I have tried shielded RCA leads and different USB type A to B, even one from Digital Village, but still the interference still persists. The unit I have seems to have an internal issue as there is lots of feedback. On paper this should have been perfect for me, as I'm starting out back into production.
